Recreational Opportunities and Community Events are also on the Parkland web site for your convenience and include many youth recreation opportunities.

Check these pages often as they are constantly being updated with new announcements.

Post Prom Needs YOU
The Post Prom Party has been a tradition at Parkland High School since 2002 and has been successful in providing a safe, fantastic, and fun event for all students who attend the Senior Prom.  There is evidence that Prom Night safety issues (drunk driving incidents, drug use, etc.) are dramatically reduced in communities that sponsor AFTER PROM programs.  That is why our local funeral home, Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., chose to support this event!  We want to promote a safe and fun time when all Parkland seniors will spend their last night together and we appreciate your help and support to keep our kids safe on Prom Night.  To sponsor the event, click here.   To make a donation, click here.

To volunteer, click here.

There will be an Early Dismissal TODAY Friday April 12, all students dismiss at 1:45 pm.

Drop off /Pick Up Procedure

PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CHILD ON 37TH STREET.

Our drop-off and pick-up procedures work very well when all involved follow the proper procedures. Thank you for your cooperation. Because of your efforts, our students are safe when entering and leaving the building. . Please note the following:

When dropping off your child in the morning, pull forward as much as you are able to allow more than one car to drop off at the same time. . If you need to enter the building for any reason, you must find a space in the lot or on the street, and walk your child into the building. Please do not accompany your child to the classroom at this time.

When picking up at the end of the day, stay in your car and pull forward as much as possible in front of the gymnasium doors. Your child will then be permitted to enter your car. Only the cars directly in front of the gym (approximately 3 cars) will be filled at a time. School dismisses promptly at 3:30 for car line pick up.

April 6 - Community Resource Fair, 9 AM – 12 Noon at Parkland High School
