Our Annual Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled to take place on November 24th, 25th and 26th. Please log in to Schoology to access each teacher's schedule. You will also have the opportunity to select either an in-person or virtual meeting on the email confirmation you receive after selecting a time slot. Please keep in mind that all students will be dismissed at 11:45 AM on all of the conference days.
Please make your appointment as soon as possible but no later than Friday, November 14th.
Note to Parents/Guardians- Early Pick Ups
Please be sure to send a note in with your child(ren) if you plan to pick them up early. Notes should be given to their teacher to sign off on and give to the main office. This will help ensure a quick and easy pick up.
Outdoor Recess & Cooler Weather upon us
The weather is getting colder and we thank you for helping ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Students will go outside unless real feel is below 21 degrees or precipitating.

The Parkland Community Advisory Council will hold its November meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Administration Building, located at 1210 Springhouse Rd, Allentown, PA 18104. These monthly meetings are open to the public. The topic of this meeting is the Parkland School District Volunteer Opportunities and the Parkland Education Foundation. Presenters at this event are SMS PTO President Kris Goorsky, Post Prom Organizer Kristen Kyvelos and Lisa Ervin, the Executive Director of the Parkland Education Foundation.
